Prapadasana is a toe balancing posture that places pressure on and stimulates the calves and ankle

Sanskrit Name/ Prapadasana

Pose Level-1

Contraindications and Cautions:

  • Ankle or Knee injury, Headache, Menstruation, Migrane

 

Alternative Pose:

Malasana, Tadasana, Vrikshasana

 

Reverse Poses:

Virasana, Vajrasana, Ardha Padmasana, Upavistha Konasana,

  • Tackle rigidity and control impulses
  • Improves Physical and Mental flexibility
  • Helps to stimulate Sahasrara chakra.
